MIZU ECO-CARE'S PARTNERS/DONORS
The High Five Club is a partner and collaborator of Mizu Eco-Care in the Hunger and Poverty Reduction Agroecology project in Mfuwe, Mambwe District in the Eastern Province of Zambia. This project is jointly funded with the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise. The project has so far received in excess of 85,000 US Dollars.
The Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise is a partner and collaborator of Mizu Eco-Care in the Hunger and Poverty Reduction Agroecology project in Mfuwe, Mambwe District in the Eastern Province of Zambia. This project is jointly funded with the High Five Club.
The Global March for Elephants and Rhinos-GMFER is a funding partner and joint collaborator in the Ngwerere River Plastic Clean-Up project and all plastic clean-ups in Zambia condcuted by Mizu Eco-Care which annually receives 6000 US Dollars.
Conservation Advocates Zambia-CAZ is a strategic partner of Mizu Eco-Care in defending of vulnerable communities and the environment in terms environmental advocacy and legal representation. Both Mizu Eco-Care and CAZ are members of the Zambia Environmental Justice Coalition.
Mizu Eco-Care is a founding member of the Zambia Environmental Justice Coalition, a coalition that speaks for the voiceless and implements environmental advocacy and activism.
The Born Free Foundation sponsored the training of the three Team Mizu Eco-Care members in the Agroecology Diploma at Kasisi Agricultural Training Institute. This was a major step in Mizu Eco-Care commencing the promotion of Agroecology as a vehicle for climate action, ecosystem restoration, wildlife conservation and hunger and poverty reduction.
We are proud to announce that this April 2026, with support from the Egmont Trust in the United Kingdom, we will expand our Kakumbi Poverty and Hunger Reduction project through Agroecology to reach up to 405 small-scale farmers in all the Village Action Groups of Kakumbi Chiefdom. Do stay tuned as we undertake this Agroecology journey with the communities of Kakumbi Chiefdom in Mfuwe.
